   Thanks, John. Great article! It reminds me of Rupert Spira’s description of the seamless intimacy of reality. There’s no demarcation between my body and everything else. It all arises together in consciousness. The universe is my body, and it’s hard to lose the universe. An out of body experience in that sense would be impressive!

     Thanks, Kathleen. You are right about Rupert Spira. His observations about the body and those of a lot of other good teachers take some time to stew. The concepts by themselves are intriguing, but the apparent hair on the back of one’s apparent neck goes up when they start sinking in. Thanks for commenting. Love, John

   Thank you for sharing your inquiry and insight, John. It reminds me of my own awakening three years ago. Never having meditated, I signed up for a local $60/6-weeks beginning meditation course. The day after our first class meeting, I sat down on my bedroom floor to meditate. Two questions had been arising in consciousness for several days, so I sat down with them in mind: “Do I exist?” “Where do I exist?” When the meditation ended, I was no longer in the bedroom; instead, the bedroom was in me, as were the stars, the sky and the entire universe. The shift from content to context occurred in a New York minute.

   I hope you’ll write more direct-inquiry articles. Again, thank you.
