Unsolicited Testimonial to the Power of The Living Method
Received August 9, 2021
Hi Fred,
We haven’t met yet, my name is Robert Korngiebel, I live in Dallas. I had been trying to awaken for years. I recently heard a teacher that suggested, stop striving…start surrendering.I’ve spent the last 2 months, or so, surrendering to everything I could (opinions, beliefs, judgements…or as you would say BOP). On Monday, I did a Google search on, “non dual surrender” and one of your video’s showed up. It’s the first time I found out about you. I watched it, then one other. In the second you suggested we move our inquiry from the perspective of the unit to the perspective of the subject. I immediately woke up; I was at the gym exercising listening to you and just like a soap bubble popping, I fell out of my confined buble into infinite awareness. I fell into a world of color that had been previously black and white. My perspective has shifted, everything was new. It’s only been 48 hours and I realize it is just a start. Awareness is what I am, it’s so obvious I looked right past it. From the bottom of my heart thank I you so much for making your wisdom available to everyone.Afterwards I went to your website, and noticed there is a Skillful Means class in September. There is also a Skillful Means video course, and satsang. I’d rather not forget what I am, as I believe it’s all too easy to do based on the experiences I’ve heard from others, and it was a long road getting here. How do you recommend I proceed?Skillful Means Video Course now, wait for the same course next month, take the course then start attending satsang, start satsang immediately? It seems there are a myriad of combinations. Also, what is the difference between “Skillful Means Course” and “Self-Realization Course” video courses? Should I take both or is the “Skillful Means Course” just a more current version for the “Self Realization Course”?Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and your guidance.
