    Morning Fred,
Very good. I think Jesus said “I am that I am and that is all that I am”, or is it you who just said that ?
Maybe you have just described my experience which I’ve been unable to ground for many years.
    I would love your comments.
In times of great peace and stillness, usually in meditation, I am aware of the” I am”, after seemingly being absent coming into awareness, without any projected thoughts around it. Then a letting go and falling into deeper silence, Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. From this emptiness there follows what I can only describe as an upward rush of profound all encompassing love. The physiological sensation of wanting to embrace mankind / the world and give it the sweetest gentlest kiss. I would like to think this is the gratitude you speak of.
Then confusion follows. There seems to be an automatic desire to share this beauty, but the body/mind can find no way of expressing the stillness. Life then seems to ache for something tangible to hold onto ,to
manifest this potential, while God laughs at my frustration. Is this the sex of creation. Even as I am writing this I am smiling at my delightful innocence. Love will ground as and where necessary. All is well.
If I had your gift with words you may have had a serious rival in trying to express the inexpressible.
Meanwhile I’ll leave it to you. With Gratitude.

    Love Miles

Beautiful, Miles. That is indeed the gratitude of which I speak. The unit doesn’t need to try to express the stillness. It in itself an expression of the stillness.

      All love,
      Fred

Fred and Miles, you both got to me in such a delicious and tantalizing way. Thank you. I am sharing something that immediately came to mind from another source, another of the luminous sharers, then something that came to me to write.

        Across the planes
        of consciousness,
        we have to live
        with the parodox
        that opposite things
        can be simultaneously
        true

        – Ram Dass –

        Springing from the ineffable empty
        translucence of seeing
        completely clear nothingness
        issuing from the vacuumous void
        of darkest space
        is the true knowledge
        underlying
        that it is
        completely full

        Me

Hey, Don! Thanks for the Ram Dass quote, and for yours!

          In peace,
          Fred

Great post followed by a great comment. Could almost have been part of the post.
    Thankyou.
May this life constitute a blundering but grateful finger.

    Great article, Fredness.
And perfectly timely as well, although
it is certainly a timeless message.

    The Gary unit salutes you.

Which brings to mind something my former
Tibetan Buddhist teacher used to say, and which
    I’ll simply paraphrase:

    No gratitude, no enlightenment.

I think that’s safe to say.

    All love and All joy,

    Garydas
