Chris and I never expected to meet anyone from satsang, as we live in out-of-the-way Iowa City. But it turns out the chances of us meeting wonderful Henry were 100%! To no one’s surprise, we enjoyed the instant connection that naturally happens within awakened oneness. Grateful, as always, to Fredness and all of our satsang […]
A number of my Continuing Students Program members came to Clarity House this weekend for a series of Satsangs. We also shared some meals and lots and lots of love. I’ll be posting a page soon of our friends’ commentary on the adventure. It was an absolutely PERFECT weekend. The fellowship was AWESOME! I’ll have […]
A client sent me this after our session this evening. Betsy loves it, so I thought I’d share it with you guys. The quick explanation is that it’s me mimicking an optician’s checkup, changing lenses to correct vision. That’s basically what an Awakening Session is. This young man woke up with me a couple […]
Terry and Soraya are friends of mine who live in Australia. They made a little pilgrimage to see “Sailor” Bob Adamson, whose teachings played a huge role in my coming to recognize and accept True Nature. Bob’s guru was Nisargadatta Maharaj. Sometimes you can spot him in archival footage from Maharaj’s loft. I have a […]
Our friends, Gary and Gloria, were at our house today. They drop by to spruce things up once every couple of weeks, as they have been doing for years. We get along famously. Today, just as they were leaving, Gloria looked at me in a funny sort of way as she was halfway out the […]
Dear Fred and Betsy, Just looking at the photos of your beautiful new home, it looks so cosy and also seeing the satsang room made me cry tears of Joy. Radiating in heavenly light! Clarity house looks absolutely stunning inside and outside and it feels like a sanctuary of peace & harmony. ☯️ Infinite blessings and […]
“Time is but the stream I go a-fishing in. I drink at it; but while I drink I see the sandy bottom and detect how shallow it is. Its thin current slides away, but eternity remains.” “Where I Lived, and What I Lived For” Walden Henry David Thoreau Thanks to Beau.
We received these flowers today from one of my students, wishing us a happy holiday (this weekend). It’s not the first time flowers have arrived here, but simultaneously I notice that it is the first time. When we awaken, everything is new again. And again. And again. Thank you, Bubba.
This was painted by my friend and student, Bob Turano, who lives in Los Angeles. He’s an awakened being, and I can certainly feel that in this work. There are lots of ways to experience truth, and visual art is a key one. (Beautiful, Bob. Thanks for letting me run this.)
