    Universe-ness(s) in satsang?

The black hole around which everything in the galaxy is orbiting, has suspiciously similar characteristics to the pull I have felt all these decades — there is a resonance with the imagery. It sounds funny to say, but I swear I can almost hear Nisargadatta’s booming voice from beyond there (it’s neither here nor there when it’s all One), and the absurdity of a personal “doer” or “seeker” is so profoundly clear my sides hurt from the laughter!

Thank you for being Fred-ness 🙂

Also, one model of the expansion of the universe (space itself) is that every point IS the center of the universe from its place. Like the surface of a balloon (disregarding completely any concept of volume inside or out) every point expands equally apart from each other. Once I finally conceptualized that, it made so much sense. The singularity of the big bang couldn’t become other than it was/is! We are all still facets of the singularity (Indra’s Net anyone?). And so the Earth, and me, are again the center of the Universe! And just an infinitesimal outlier at the same time. For simplicity and ease, let’s just call it Oneness!

One thing we want to notice is that a center is defined as something that is equidistant from a boundary. The balloon has a boundary. You don’t. 🙂
