PICTURE POST: The Print In My Hallway

I’ve had this framed poster in my hall for thirteen years. I’ve read Stephen Mitchell’s translation of the Tao Te Ching many, many time. I used to read it nearly every day at work. I loved this verse, and read it over and over, but I had no real idea of what it was saying. Until the day I woke up. Then I understood every line, every word, every nuance.

Many of you will know just what I mean.
