I looked up blinking, and we blink our eyes closed about 10% of the time. That’s on top of the sleep cycle. On top of death/birth cycle. Funny how the imagined separate I thinks itself into importance in the midst of so constantly spontaneous, graceful awakenings. I guess that’s why i(t)s awakening can be such a big bang, it’s been (imagining) holding out so long. And even that is within and “returns” to the serene and graceful. Thanks for writing so serenely and gracefully. For me, you and your writing are evidence of Life learning to update the quote, “This is the way the world ends, not with a bang but a whimper”. Instead, “the world begins and ends not with a bang but with grace”.
