Comments from the Field: What They’re Saying About Awakening Workshop #2
I’ve already posted Harriet’s testimonial about her awakening experience in the June 21st meeting, but I want to share some others as well.
“I felt very awe struck by the time we finished the closed eyes exercise. I was smiling and tearing!
(Sure you could see the difference from my frustrated look of last time!)”
~Barbara
(Barbara, now you can see why Nisargadatta always said that earnestness is “the most important thing.”)
“Wonderful! Masterful!”
~Thomas
(Thanks Thomas. Betsy wants to know if we can bring the dogs to your place in Maine. 😎 )
“It seemed like you knew what you were doing at each stage. It was almost like you would expect certain typical questions the participants would have at certain stages and you’d have certain inquiries particularly designed to address them. Overall it felt like watching The Fred Show. ;)”
~Ashwin
(Ashwin, it’s more like The Absence-of-Fred Show!)
“When is came to the section of who I truly am I will admit I that I have no memory of the part of your work. I do know who I am not. That was loud and clear.”
~Carol
(Carol, you can’t remember “that part of the work,” because Carol wasn’t there for it. However, You were, Oneness, and that seed will grow within Carolness.)
“I really enjoyed the session and it really did allow for a shift into SEEING who I really am.
I thought your approach really demonstrated your commitment to facilitating this experience
and I really respected that. I look forward to participating in more workshops with you.
Thank you for an awesome experience.”
~Harvey
(Harvey, now you see why I always say, SHOW and tell in what works.”)
“Yesterday’s session was awesome. I think I was in a trance for the first session all the way to the break.
I felt clear with a non-linguistic understanding I’ve never had before.
I felt that for the first time in a long time that I wasn’t living in my head.”
~ZHG
(That’s exactly it, Z. This is why I often state that rather than ‘waking up,’
what we really need to do is ‘wake down’– down into the body,
which has been living in the Garden of Eden every day of its life.)
