Such a pleasure talking to you today!

Here is a little ditty for the website. I hope it does the trick. I honestly can’t tell if it makes sense! Seriously, I read it like 20 times.

It seems unlikely that I’ll be able to join this Sunday (although I’ll try), but I have every intention of being a regular from then on out.

What became abundantly clear after talking to Fred (besides, of course, my true nature as Existence itself!) is that his teachings amount to an actual method. Fred’s method is geared towards bringing you out of denial about the full truth and significance of your experience, as it already is. Fred has a keen understanding of why the usual non-dual pointers (e.g. “You are already awake.”) often fail to bring about clear seeing. Even though I’d recognized my true nature many times before, and even though I’d heard all the standard Nondual pointers over and over, I’d always believed on some level that what I was looking for was some-thing special, something that’s just out of reach, just out of view—some experience that obviously can’t be this one! Through our conversation, I also came to realize that I had unconsciously believed that a sense of a limited self confirmed the existence of one. Such mistaken beliefs (or, to put it less “spiritually,” this total bulls#$t) kept me from fully seeing what was apparent in the many moments of clarity. With great humor and skill, Fred coaxed me to inspect and unequivocally affirm the truth about my own experience: although I can’t truly say what I am, I do know THAT I am. And whatever I am, it’s not other that what is.
