First Proofreader’s Reaction to Awaken NOW: The Living Method of Spiritual Awakening

I just finished writing a new book yesterday. It’s all fresh, original material, like Beyond Recovery and The Book of Undoing, not reprints of ACN posts. In the tradition of The Book of Undoing, it is a “mock session” of what happens in a one-on-one Awakening Session three years and hundreds of sessions after having published Undoing.

The proofreader is a student, a brilliant Boston psychologist whom I woke up late last spring, or early last summer, something like that. We meet every Monday for a Clarity Session. She offered to proofread for me, and so I sent it to her five minutes after I finished the second and final draft.

I knew it was very good, and very clear. It sounds like she agrees with my assessment.

The photo of Mt. Fifi accompanying this post will be the background photo for the cover. The proofread manuscript will  go to my editor tomorrow. I hope it’ll be out in six weeks or so, maybe less if I’m lucky. Stay tuned.

I laughed and cried, went right along like a good student on the taking away story,  and oohed and aahed with the entirety of everything/nothing inside me… a slowly building GIANT SMILE on Patti’s face… and did it all over again on the second reading!! I LOVE IT!!! It’s perfect in every way. It’s the only thing that’s going on – it is WHAT IS!! 

Brilliant, Fred. Utterly authentic, clear, confusing as hell until it’s not. Felt like I woke up twice all over again each time. HA!! And I love “Box Top Fred” which I don’t remember your saying before. But who knows, and who cares?!!!
