Letter from the Field: Seeing the Value of One-on-One
Thank you so much for spending your time with me today, Fred! I have been literally dying to spend time with someone who will talk with me about the down-to-earth bottom line, and not pull punches. It’s what I’ve needed all along, but I obviously haven’t been ready for it before because it didn’t happen before. And I’m obviously ready now because it happened! I know one-on-one (or a few at a time) is a tough route to take, but it’s what I needed and I’m sure there are many more who need it too. There really is no substitute for it.
I can see I’m not the John story, which is not even a real thing anyway. I know I have some questions, or maybe the John story has some questions — I can’t really tell which. But they don’t really seem important or relevant now; I don’t even want to think about them right now.
BTW, I really appreciate your style of talking about the absolute but making it practical to relativity. Maybe others are also doing that, but I haven’t found them (and I have a lot of books along the Vedanta path). I’m especially thinking about your Recovery book. So many practical tips.
Thank you (== me) again!
John
