Looking THROUGH the Unit Instead of AS the Unit
This was sent to me today by my new friend David, with whom I had a very successful Awakening Session last week. Davis is originally from Chile, but currently living on a South Pacific island. You can imagine that our internet connection was imperfect, but we got the job done. He had had a previous awakening, but as he said in his note, “I understood that I ‘awakened’ a few years ago, but for sure it is not easy to describe the ‘definition’ of it. Now I have it clear. :)”
The instant I opened his email and saw this picture, I was ecstatic. I could hardly believe how accurately it portrayed ‘my’ exercise. “Wow!” I thought, “There it is!”
This phrase, “Looking Through the Unit Instead of AS the Unit,” is something I’ve been trying to drum into students for the past 10 years. I have seen people have instantaneous insights and glimpses by doing it. Quite frankly, whenever I stop long enough to do this, it will be instantly followed by a so-called “shift” into greater clarity.
If you do the exercise right—just as shown in this drawing—it’s a no-brainer. It takes just a few seconds. And it’ll work for you every time from here on out. Try this and make it yours!
Love,
Fred

The thought of “looking through the Joel, not as the Joel” has been a key and always instantaneous part of daily, sometimes hourly, “Shifting practice” for the last 6 years, since I first heard it from Fred during Satsang in 2016 (it’s in my notes, haha). It never fails to shift my perspective from the relative to the universal. I LOVE the drawing!!!

Hello, Joel! Thanks for this! I just come out of a Clarity Session where I went over this (again) with a long-term student. It’s a fast and easy way to experience the Truth of Who You are.♥
