Skillful Means Video Course

Click the image to watch a preview of the course.

The Skillful Means Series Video Course was held over the last three Saturdays in June 2020. The first week was a 2-hour Awakening Session. The next two Saturdays offered two 2-hour group Clarity Sessions. And it was totally amazing!

I can’t recall any event that I’ve ever presented that went as perfectly as this series did. Wonderful, passionate students, no technical glitches, and lots of awakenings! Throughout the first session, you can see people popping into Recognition of True Nature over and over again. With my Zoom set on gallery view, it looked to me like chicks breaking out of their shells!

This new course is the recorded video of all three sessions—more than six hours total. Short of one-on-one sessions with me, if you want to wake up, if you want to clear up, I know of nothing clearer, easier, or more powerful than this series. Everyone who attended was offered a golden invitation to awaken, and you will be too!

Difference Between the Self-Realization Video Course and
the Skillful Means Video Course

The Self-Realization Video Course is 10 hours of instruction and investigation, and there’s a long visualization exercise that is VERY powerful if you are open to it. It contains the methodology that Fred used from 2013 to 2016. Hundreds of people woke up in the private Awakening Session that it simulates for a “classroom” of people.

The Skillful Means Course is closer to six hours, and it contains a methodology that’s quite similar to what Fred uses now. Many hundreds have Realized via this method too. Fred is a clearer, sharper teacher than he was in 2013-2016, but that doesn’t mean it’s “better.” They are both clear and generally successful in live classes. Even a glimpse has great value if one remains open to greater clarity, which is Fred’s field, of course.

Maybe start with the Skillful Means one first. When you take the second one, you’ll recognize a bit from the first, but it in no way duplicates the first. Many of Fred’s present “Continuing Students” were first in Skillful Means. It’s strong.

Testimonials

Hey Fred, I just wanted to express my gratitude one more time for the truly life-changing Skillful Means series, and the two Satsangs. And what a lovely group your Satsang members are! When I look back on how blessed the “Brian” life has been in terms of exposure to many of the top spiritual teachers on the planet over the past 30 years, I can say with confidence, and without hesitation, that none of them holds a candle to you and your Living Method – which is the truest Direct Path that I have encountered in all my years on the non-Path. And I have been with many teachers, monks, swamis, and gurus. I have been fortunate enough to spend time in retreat, and one on one time, with several of them. While in India, I spent several weeks (overall) with Ramesh Balsekar attending his daily Satsang in his condo in Mumbai (one of Nisargadatta’s translators). As influential as all of them have been – and I am grateful for all of them and their teachings – it always felt like something was missing….. like something was being held back (not on purpose necessarily, but still in reserve). Perhaps all of that only points to the adage, “when the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” As it turns out, the teacher has shown up in the guise of a “Fred Davis.” :o) Your method paints the seeker into a corner where there is nowhere to go except to see the Truth of what we are. So simple. So direct. So powerful. And so transforming and life-changing. Love, gratitude, and deep respect to you and Betsy for all you do.

Hi Fred and Betsy, Thank you very much for facilitating the Skillful Means course, and for the subsequent satsangs. The experience was invaluable, and as expressed during the most recent satasang, I am currently experiencing a flatlining due to the ‘seeking’ desire coming to an end. There is still some seeking energy attached to the ‘Rob’ character, who doesn’t want to accept that this is all there is, but the foot has been removed from the accelerator and the seeking vehicle is now running on its own slowing impetus. There is a void now that bothers the Rob character, who desperately wants to know ‘what now?’, and panic due to the realisation that there is no doer, only doing, and that doing simply occurs. It’s that loss of ‘assumed’ control that scares Rob the most. Rob thought he was driving the vehicle, and is now relegated to the back seat with a toy steering wheel, desperately turning it in an attempt to convince itself that it is still in control, despite knowing that not only is it not in the driving seat, there is ‘nobody’ driving the vehicle lol. With the recent lockdowns and the current world situation, continuing with the satasangs is not financially viable at the moment, but once situations have improved I will be back. Again, thank you both very much.

Dear Fred, Trusting that you and Betsy are doing well. Just want to say thank you for offering the Skillful Awakening Series. The series absolutely lived up to its title. I’m not much for words especially after my Awakening in 2008. Thank you for sharing your gift.
