Letter TO the Field: A Short Report on Some Very Un-Fredness-like Behavior in the Face of a Little Life Challenge
Yesterday the podcasting site went down, and today it was this one, the main ACN page. There was a time when–granted, it’s been a while–when I would have hit the roof over such a thing? Don’t they know who I am? I mean, I know there are 7,000,000,000 of us, but surely you’ve noticed which one of us is the important one!
I didn’t really think about this until it was over. Freedom. It’s sweet. Note that I surrendered, but did not throw in the towel. Last night I wrote, and today I wrote and made a phone call. I did my part, which in the end apparently contributed nothing to the end result. But don’t bet the bank on “apparently”.
Surrendering to the inevitable is in fact a powerful positive movement. Our world arises dependent upon our view. Are we looking from the eyes of the unit, or the Eyes of God? Where we’re looking FROM is always more important than what we’re lookng AT. After taking appropriate practical measures, I then went and did other stuff. End of story–quite literally.
Surrender first, then prudent action, and then, for goodness sake, move on.
Good morning, my love!!
Just got up to find ACN down! Wrote Roland, called GoDaddy. GoDaddy says on a recording, “If you are having a problem with your hosting, we are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it.”
Duct tape and baling wire. So glad I stayed up late to fix it, because when it DOES come back up, it’ll be correct and I want have to drop what I’m doing and jump in. Roland just wrote me and he’s on it.
So, welcome to Life, yes? It does what it does and we accept and adjust, or we don’t, but It still does what It does. There’s not actually anything wrong. Looks wrong, feels wrong, but it ain’t wrong, it’s Life doing what It does.
Oh that Jack! We snuggled and cooed!
I love my wife,
Fred
