Q: If there is only oneness, why can’t I experience swimming upstream as a salmon?
A: You are experiencing it – as the salmon!
A so-called spiritual experience is the character’s experience of Awakeness waking up, translated through the character. But you are always having a spiritual experience. There is only spiritual experience.
We can make all of the choices that we want–but we cannot choose what we choose.
The part cannot capture the whole, which is what we come to see with awakening. The mind cannot hold awakening, but it can be used to behold awakening.

I’m choosing to say thank you (just the version of love that seems to bounce back in a direction of where it came “from”). Ha! I didn’t have to choose, much less make myself, grateful, SO I can freely enjoy giving the thanks. In Spanish “gratis” is the word for free and “gracias” for thanks (like “gratefull” probaby derives similarly). I Am is just freely available, how much more gracefull can Freedom be than to come up with an idea like gratitude in expressing Itself! Sure, I’ll choose that!
