What do I want, freedom or free will? When do I want it? – now!

Love the feeding chickens pointers pointer. Funny too how it contrasts with throwing pearls before swine.

I must dovetail here with the previous post about the hermit. Your reply that ended “One who knows self whole makes (k)no(w) demands” – felt so kind. Suddenly I felt like the hermit I “wished” better things for – even my “wish” pointed as a not accepting (demands!) of things having to have been exactly as they are/were. I reread a couple of times, a new experience of compassion rising. (reminds me of the Grinch’s heart growing, and then growing again) The heart got it, the brain being ever more convinced to get out of the way, follow – and THEREBY “get it” – as that “understanding” experience!

To not deny our experience AND have an experience of a teaching that talks of our experience not being total Reality, THAT is the way. Oscillation and wandering in the dessert may be experienced, but please join and thereby reduce those experienced aspects (suffering) for “me” and “others” – and “you”. It takes One, including you who is that One.

I was reading a book, and noticed I was being a little contrarian to part of its message. That alerted me to my definition of having an open mind, “what is being said here FOR ‘me’ ?”. The next sentence was “There is no more need for wandering (in the desert)”.
