Betsy and I are on holiday this weekend, which is joyful in itself, but it’s been highlighted by the following emails signalling the onset of (renewed) deeper insight from two one-on-one students (actually three, counting the laughing husband, who’s also a dear student) who are all walking the walk. All three of these people have had previous awakenings, but nothing so satisfies the soul as this present awakening! These fresh insights also take both of them deeper. I thought their notes might brighten you up a bit, too, thus I share.
These are ordinary people, just like you and me. This stuff I teach really does work. Enlightenment is real, and you can Realize.

I GET IT !! Somehow I have held on to the idea that I have some measure of control in my life. It’s gone. Suddenly.

Hi Fred,
I am unborn, unbound and untouched. Duh! Ha, ha….I’ve been repeating that mantra for a few months now, but today I really got it. Kathleen didn’t get it, because she’s not me. But I got it.
I don’t know if the mantra helped me see who I really am, or if seeing who I really am made the mantra obvious. But as with any insight, awakening, or clearing, it brought a great sense of expansion and freedom. I don’t need to worry so much about Kathleen’s problems because they don’t affect how free and happy I am. And she’ll be fine anyway, because she is a part of me. We are unborn, unbound and untouched.

P.S. When I read the first line of this letter to Chris he burst out laughing, and couldn’t stop for awhile. Oneness got it through Chris, too! As we know, awareness is catching.

I’m still feeling a great sense of relief from yesterday’s insight. Wow, all the time I’ve spent worrying about things. I have always wanted to feel just a little bit of security and happiness, but circumstances never quite lined up right. But now that I’ve broken through to the bigger me, the vast awareness, I can see that I am always secure and happy, regardless of circumstances. Awareness is an immense joy that illuminates all life experiences, whether “good” or “bad.”

I’ll toast to these!
I’ve been more alert to how that little (hardly even questioned) contraction into control stains the whole What Is. And to the sense of control, that stain means it needs to control more! So here I am instead, relaxing into writing th(IS)!
And so nice to hear Kathleen is better off NOT being worried about. Because now I’m more reassured I can let Mike go keep her company!
