Be a Part of New Academic Research on Awakening
Jenny Wade is a friend of mine. Many of you already know her from the
ACN home page, where there’s a link to her bio. She’s also a terrific
writer with two books from major publishers and a whole flock of articles.
She’s smart, charming and funny, and I love her to death. I’m betting
you will, too. She’s also one of those highly connected people you
love to have on your contact list.
Why not give her a hand with this project?
I think it’s fascinating. Thanks.
~Fred
I’m interested in your experience transitioning into ongoing awakening (liberation, nonduality, however you think about it). Some experiences seem to be dramatic, others extremely subtle. Some people have had more than one before they stabilize there. There is virtually no research in this area because so few people have transitioned. That’s changing now.
My name is Jenny Wade, and I’m a researcher who has also transitioned. For an article on experiences of awakening to be published in the International Journal of Transpersonal Studies and in an anthology, I am seeking personal stories of what happened when people went from ordinary consciousness into awakening.
If you are willing to share your story, here’s what’s involved:
- A one-on-one confidential Skype or phone interview with me not to exceed one hour.
- Or, if you prefer, you can write about your experience and email it to me. If you choose to write, I will send you some questions to help in describing what happened.
All responses will be confidential and anonymous. Your name will never be used, and if necessary other details will be changed to ensure your anonymity.
Your story could help normalize awakening for other people and would advance the science of helping people transition.
