So powerful your words were. I cried listening to it. Manifesting what I want was all I have been doing for a long time in my life with so much compulsiveness. And it’s not like I did not or do not know that it is so disgusting to hold my being in a place of constant grab-as-much-as-you-want-from-the-universe attitude. I totally see the pointlessness of it first hand. I have been noticing myself and my patterns of desires; just so strong and subtle are my tendencies that even when I notice them I can’t help those patterns. I am not even judging myself as a bad person immediately or anything because I know that at least I have been blessed with honesty to tear apart my hypocrisies and see me for what I am. But how compulsive my ambitions and desires are continuing to be is beyond me. Thanks for touching my core and hitting it hard so it might wake up from its unquenchable search.

Beautiful. Telling ourselves the truth is the start. Staying with the truth is hard, but doable. I invite you to come to satsang to find support in your journey. Even if we could do this by ourselves, who would want to?
