Letter from the Field: The Field Is All There Is
Hi Fred,
I watched the “Attention Practice” video and I see that I am the unlimited field, the boundless field, the openness and emptiness in which all things appear and disappear…very wonderful!
At first I was a bit doubting myself when I was shifting back and forth from “this” (inner) to “that” (outer) because to me it was so obvious that they could also just as easily be called one name instead of two…but then at the end you confirmed my hunch that in fact the two are the one and the same. So now there is no difference between when I close my eyes and I open my eyes, except in appearances…they are both actually the same.
Anyways thank you for this gift (I suppose I should thank myself as well because after all, we are the same!) What a delight!
Thanks!!!
Matt D.

I heard an explanation of why movie scenes can jump so much (you’d think a seamless flow would be more ‘natural’). It’s that it mimics our blinking! So even the movies have to incorporate the natural relationship of appearances, and the field “in between”.
