The Book of Nothing (available on Amazon) is 250 pages of quotes and piercing questions that were painstakingly pulled from our live-online Sunday Satsangs by my dear friend, the late Gordon Goodman, M.D. He spent an entire year pulling out helpful quotes and questions from my responses to students during our live, online Sunday Satsangs. It is a book you can read forward, backward, or start anywhere you like. Read one quote or entry or page at a time, or read them all in a few sittings. Or both. You’re encouraged to make it a daily staple.
The Book of Nothing can be used as a morning meditation or to take a “dose of clarity” as many times during the day as you want. I’ve always wanted to publish some kind of book like this, just as I had always wanted to write a book about both addiction recovery and nonduality prior to writing Beyond Recovery back in 2012. Thrill arises.
It’s available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle editions. If you live outside of the US, most of you will find the paperback is available, and many of you should be able to find it in the Kindle edition. There will be an audiobook a little later down the road. Now that it’s published I can turn my attention toward that project. Audiobooks are their own trial and reward and require their own undivided attention—plus a bit of money. A lot of you already prefer my titles in audio, and this one will be absolutely ideal for that format. It can be a background presence whether you’re driving, working in the office, around the house, or out in the yard, and when you’re taking your regular walks. So, patience, please, but it’s definitely coming. Having it in one format does not negate having it in others.
The Book of Nothing has been a real labor of love from my students to me, and from all of us to all of you. I am so very, very grateful to all who helped this happen; especially those of you who support this teaching financially. I hope you’ll join us in receiving the Awakeness-to-Awakeness transmission of this new book and enjoy it as much as we do.
