Nonduality Through the Eyes of an Apparent Child
These two drawings are by the eight-year-old child of a long-term student and friend. They live in England. I have had several short talks with her. She’s rather amazing! Below are her two suggestions for God—that known but unknowable Isness that we can’t talk about but are perfectly happy to spend an entire day (or lifetime) trying to talk about It. As we speak, as we listen, Conscious Embodiment occurs. The Divine makes its Presence known to and through these very lifelike human units.
Her first bit of advice is for That which Is in each of us is to relax, to go easy whenever fear, judgment, or relative conclusions appear. Any firm position is bound to be found false. So, “Go easy” on the unit that shows up as “I” and on whatever shows up as “other.” Neither is true.
Secondly, my little friend suggests that God not only “Go easy,” but “Go easy, and remember Who you are.” She sometimes passes this on to God-in-a-Daddy suit when she notices it huffing and puffing around their home. Furthermore, I am told that this acts as instant ego-demolition. Perhaps We-that-is-Me should follow her advice as well. It’s just a suggestion. ♥f
