    While chopping beets. Beautiful! I notice so often that quiet, focused moments create an opening for awakening, Some other examples I’ve heard are: while taking a shower, walking in nature, tying a shoe, getting a massage, driving a scenic route.

    Zen and Advaita both traditionally consider cooking (with a reverent attitude) to be a spiritual practice.
