    Hey Fred,

    Read it again!
Have you thought of doing this in audio?

    Love,
    Arlene

Hey, Arlene! I think I’m going to try and do a YouTube video where I read The Looking Glass, so that people can use it as sort of a guided meditation. I have thought about putting the book of undoing on audio, but I’m not set on it just yet. I don’t have the time to address it just now. The new book comes next. 🙂

      All love,
      Fred

    Hey Fred!
Thanks for replying and didn’t expect it so thank a mil….
Read it again outloud this time. Expected big difference but it wasn’t. I also was thinging of guided meditation if this was audio.

Both times i get the automated body feeling which means the body is so trained to do so many things it feels automated. This creates a subtle feeling of distance from it. I felt this when Awakeness was present for a week. So i asked myself how do I know I’m ego and not Awakeness. The answer was I don’t except the happiness thing isn’t here so is happiness always present when Awakeness is embodying. I don’t know that either but if you happen to read this let me know.

The reason i decided to write this is since probabley I’ll be doing Clarity next month and you might as well get used to how my mind works so you can do your magic thing, And get some rest!!!

    Love, Arlene

I always read all comments. I try to respond, although that’s usually quite short. I notice that isn’t happening just now.

Happiness sometimes appears within Awakeness, and sometimes it doesn’t. When it does, it’s just another arising. Happiness, as we typically speak of it, is a dualistic experience–contrasted with misery.

What I notice is an abiding contentment, much more rooted and basic and stronger than happiness, which has no opposite.

    All love,

    Fred

Thanks, Fred. It was great to read this again.

I’ve recently been thinking I need to practice distancing myself from the limited confines of this body. But now it occurs to me that the body is not a “container” of consciousness, even when I think or act like it is.

It is permeated by awareness, created by awareness. But it certainly doesn’t contain awareness. So I don’t need to practice expanding my awareness beyond the body. I just have to see that I am already free and limitless.

    What a relief!

This comment is coming through a woman named Kathleen, but it’s coming from Awakeness. Wonderful. Stay alert.

      All love,
      Fred

“You’re the awareness that’s reading these words through that human being.” This was the first of many great “one liners”. Fred this is a great chapter for ending your next book! Re-read indeed!

This article is well deserving of the accolades. Shines like a perfectly polished mirror.

This is about the fourth time I’ve read it. As you say, it penetrates deeper each time. This really jumped out at me this time: “See how much lighter the idea of recognition is versus the idea of waking up?”

It’s lighter, and truer and easier. And inescapable.

Hey, John! I’m glad you’re getting something real out of this. It’s also available, under the same title, as a short movie on YouTube. Make sure you listen to it on MY channel, or you’ll get a ton of ads. See you Sunday!
