I’ll be “seeing” you in January, Cindy! Fred, I’ve not prepared any questions for myself for our Satsangs so far, deciding to see what it was like to leave it as much as i could in “real time”. I did wonder what it would be like for you, what your thoughts are, on presenting some to you written, at the beginning or beforehand (“chat” them before the meeting starts, email them even before that, or who knows what else). For that matter, what about during the meeting – if a “short” enough question presents itself that we might want to chat, instead of “necessary enough” to raise our hand?

Looking forward to getting together with you all every week! Let your last week of this year Be the Truth that You/I are/am and the Joy of It’s radiation and reflection!

    Your reflection here, Mike

Hi, Mike. I would encourage you guys to exchange emails and stay in touch with each other–you can pull them from the boards here. You may also post something here for others to read, if you like. I am very keen on the idea of establishing some sort of loose “community” of serious students. Who is more serious than the adherents in satsang? I once had an Awakening Clarity Now forum/chat room for people to exchange ideas, but it didn’t go the way I had hoped, and I closed it.

I would encourage you to do just one thing during satsang: be present to what’s arising in the room, and alert to what’s arising through me. I would keep chat to before–or after. If some of you would like to stay in the room at satsang’s end, I’m happy to leave it open for you for another hour–but you might do well to keep the room discussion essentially focused on this teaching. I say that, because here is where we can all claim commonality.

I would also try to focus on asking the right questions of each other more than I would be trying to give each other much in the way of answers. This is how clarity can get skewed, or misplaced. Explaining how you feel that things talked about here are seen in your tradition–Zen, Advaita, ACIM, or this sort of stripped away “Straight Nonduality” that I’m putting out is perfectly in order.

      All love,
      Fred

I never made it to the forum before it was gone. I’ve seen how problematic many get that I’ve visited before. When you say to pull emails from the boards, where do you mean? I’m all for staying the hour after satsang’s end. For one thing, I would like to get used to using the on line room for community. The body centered self image is a little tripped up still by how to interact on it! And so the opportunity to stay with “I Am the present arising” I’d like to take, instead of finding ways to use old conditioning. Thanks for the suggested guides; “focus on asking the right questions” is a really interesting one!

On my board, I can see the email comments of everyone who comments. Can you see that, or is it an admin thing?
